Please understand that these assignments are subject to change. There are times we don’t cover as much as expected, work on homework in class or cover more work than planned. I encourage the students to copy their assignments as I write them on the board.

Thurs. p. 80-84-List and explain the Elements of Culture. Define blue words. Read p. 84-85.
Fri. Identify vocabulary words p. 85. Answer questions 2, 3, & 4.
Literature
Mon.-We will be reading and discussing the story “Homesick from p. 108-116 on Monday and Tuesday.
Tues.- Identify “Words to Own”. Answer questions 1-3, 6 & 7 at end of “Homesick”.
Wed.- Review story and vocabulary for quiz on Thursday.
Thurs.-Read “Barrio Boy” p. 125-129.
